@grime_witch my skivvy sense prickles at the whole thing where an attacker can see who contacts who and at what time and size of message and all of that gets tied to the actual phone numbers
At least that's my understanding of the metadata leakage involved with everyone divulging their phone numbers
I hope I'm just being paranoid
@micahflee perhaps you can alleviate the "can our phone numbers be used to collect metadata when we use these secure messaging services?"
That is, I bet you get this question all the time, so maybe there's a FAQ somewhere?
