blech, I have some time I could be streaming Mother 3 in but I'm feeling too lazy and a bit deflated now that Kaylin's gone. we had a good time, eating sushi and then watching a whole bunch of stuff--some episodes of "Kanpai Senshi After V', some episodes of "Kamen Rider Amazons" first season (Kaylin's really liking this one), and then we watched the 1979 Dracula with Frank Langella, which turned out to be a real treat. This is Dracula at his most suave and sexual, and Langella sells it beautifully.

@kara_dreamer you are currently one of my favorite people for putting a diacritic over your repeated vowel 💛

"Have the reconnaissance team returned any results yet?"

Dr. Meadows pushed their scarlet wire-rims back up the bridge of her nose with a finger as they leaned over a technician's workstation to read off figures. "Nothing worse than Second Hierarchy, thank God," they concluded after a quick scan of the telemetry. After they study of the screen they turned a sharp glance toward Dr. Arora. "How's Beatrice holding up?"

"She's okay, she's sleeping." Dr. Arora replied. The older scientist brushed an imaginary speck of dust from her lab coat. "I _do_ wish, Alyn, that you would not continually refer to our psychonautical candidate by her..." Dr. Arora's nose wrinkled for a moment. "...by this _nickname_ the crew has seen fit to give her."

"You don't know? Nobody gave that to her. She gave it to herself."

"Oh." Dr. Arora blinked. "That is a slightly disagreeable surprise. I thought we had carefully screened the candidate pool to exclude anyone who might inadvertently bring an unwelcome touch of..." Again she wrinkled her nose for a moment. "...poetical sensibility to this project. After all, we can't have a lot of would-be Dantes fiddling around in our patients' private Infernos, can we?"

Dr. Meadows's fingers curled tightly around their ballpoint. "She's never heard of Dante."

"Ridiculous." Dr. Arora pushed herself up from her chair. "Maybe some patient supplied the name to her then. We allow too much personal interaction as it is."

have you and your coven considered adopting the principles of an agile methodology

just listened to a talk at witchfest on spellcraft and my main takeaway is that spell creation really needs a stronger QA process (a spellchecker if you will ayyyyy) also perhaps some project managers

Can some please hurry up an invent a way for me to store a lot of memories electronically rather in neurons because god the amount of information in my brain is way too much and it doesn't delete very often just push the memories I don't want to keep to computer and delete them and the rest that I don't use very often can remain on a computer connected to my brain via internet so if I need to access them I can.

i like the term terran over earthling, tbh
