@kara_dreamer i mean this sort of thing is always an option but I am curious about other possibilities https://youtu.be/0sRz71VsBNo
ok, if there's any music or audio that evokes Coyote for folks I wanna hear it
phew, my mind's a stew today. getting pulled in all sorts of directions
feeling like I need new voices, but nothing or nobody clear has emerged yet from the burbling chaos. Mona Clark has subsided into silence, taking Alyx Woodward with her. I could just try reviving them but something doesn't feel right about that.
reminds me that one of the little character traits I was planning on giving Chara Dreemurr (older, returned to life in the modern day after decades away) was an embarrassing taste for '80s power ballads
went to put on the Cranberries' "Dreams" to make myself feel better, instead put on Van Halen's "Dreams" by mistake. And it's kind of making me feel better too, honestly...in a kind of cheesy '80s power rock way.
put color on things to try and help with feeling not-great. It helps. https://awoo.space/media/AMGrStiSM8mDvbVOGYM

Who wants to read papers about #FOOF and #hexanitro and #hexazide compounds?
TIL: the element cobalt is named after kobolds.
No, really: the compound in which cobalt is most commonly found was called "kobold ore" by miners.
it feels a little different from Loki but I'm not sure. could be wishful thinking, skewing my perception of events; I've been kinda wanting a shakeup, and the idea of getting contacted by unfamiliar deities is therefore an appealing one.
but I got used to a kind of pattern with Loki's interventions; they often took the form of "punchlines", for lack of a better way of putting it. like, following up on emotional climaxes with some ridiculous interruption that can instantly transform my mood.
this has been different. not so melodramatic, just a series of unwelcome little surprises throughout the day.
ok, some trickster's _really_ messing with me today. that you, Loki? or someone else? SHOW YOURSELF
let this be a lesson to me: if I'm supplied a tidbit of information through mastodon or Twitter, _save a copy immediately_
ah, think I lucked into finding out which book it was.
https://www.amazon.com/Condensed-Chaos-Introduction-Magic/dp/1935150669
oh...it was a user (@LilyXY) who's either blocked me, or who disabled their profile, or something else (it's really hard for me to tell exactly), who recommended the book. all I have is my response in which I thanked Lily for the recommendation...but now I can't view the recommendation. blech.
argh, someone recommended a book about chaos magic to me, maybe two weeks ago or so, and now I can't find the post about it >_<
please help
rather wish mastodon had a "download toot archive" feature :/
