i'm still here, but not often... my plan was to mostly just post my occult/magic-related stuff here, but i've not been doing much of that lately. haven't touched a tarot deck in ages :/
we're playing "Scotland Yard" right now @tipsytentacle @Ulfra_Wolfe
@literorrery @Ulfra_Wolfe @zebratron2084 we are all safely back at Vedia's!
@Ulfra_Wolfe @literorrery oh, that makes it sound odd...the police station across the street from the Federal Way Transit Center is merely the most convenient parking lot
[fr] Petite question pour les nouveaux·lles utilisateur·rice·s. Vous trouvez comment Mastodon pour l’instant ? Ça vous plaît ?
[en] So, for all the new users. How do you find Mastodon? Do you like it?
@thursdayb not close friends. we went to a couple of their parties
@thursdayb not as such, but my girlfriend and I discovered some years ago that our upstairs neighbors were fellow furries because we picked the name "Furry Central" and they picked the name "The Unicorn Forest" or something similar
@fillertrack turns out Thelma and Louise survived that plunge
Mother 3, G. K. Chesterton Afficher plus
Mother 3 talk Afficher plus
@ErgiWitch @Laurelai oh, agreed. to me it's all about building a sense of meaning, and meaning can come from many places. @kel, my familiar, happens to attach particular significance to objects and events that come to us by chance, for example...but one doesn't often just FIND tarot cards (maybe at a thrift shop)
@chara hey, I cried when the little child Drago jumped in to defend the cyborg, who had evidently once been their mom or dad. that was painful
ok, off to play games with @Ulfra_Wolfe and @tipsytentacle and friends
I turned my rant/ramble about the Feynman sector of the Geek Culture(TM) industry into a blog post: https://www.sunclipse.org/?p=2454
@Laurelai @ErgiWitch but what I'd specifically picked up somewhere, don't remember where, is that it's better to get a tarot deck that someone's handed down, rather than just buying one
@Laurelai @ErgiWitch really! but that's not what this is about. this is about handing on a deck when you're not going to use it any more.
@Laurelai @ErgiWitch to be fair I've heard a somewhat different version of the idea, don't remember where
@spiderrobotpig @Sylvhem yep. Nazis love rules because they don't give a shit about them, except as another system to game
