If you aren't autistic and don't believe me just ask anyone on the spectrum they'll tell you that empathy is overwealming and our instict to withdraw may come across and lacking empathy but it isn't it is a instinct of taking care of our health. The Intense World Theory and Polyvagal theory don't so much make out autism to be a illness and more of a difference in neurology that is disadvantaged in how society is currently structured.
@codeawayhaley oh no who will think of the poor capital

as a catgirl I'm as closely related to humans as I am to cats.
That means I can yell meow until you feed me
@chalcedony @chara a bit of the story is here, for what it's worth: http://prettyshiny.org/~chelydros/undertale2.html
@chalcedony @chara confused? meet Ambassador Chara. For a time, in the final months of my "egg mode", Chara was my only voice.
@chara ...I don't like thinking of it that way. but as long as I'm still thinking of myself as a version of you...it's hard for me to grow. you're not an easy person to change, Chara Dreemurr
@Noelle808 but many friends of mine really go for macro lesbians
reminds me, @chara. I should probably have a chat with you at some point.
@tobascodagama yep, see also bronies insisting that THEY (i.e. post-adolescent male geeks) must be the true audience for "Friendship is Magic"
@kara_dreamer Absolutely. They're afraid of seeming like children or liking kid stuff. But they don't realise that the quickest way to seem childish to loudly insist that you aren't a child.
@tobascodagama I daresay there are a heck of a lot of geeks who refuse to believe that _any_ entertainment they happen to adore isn't "dark" or "gritty".
@c1t7 I'd like to be able to search my _own_ stuff at least!
@chalcedony I know. and who knows when we'll _ever_ get the ability to transport ourselves between places rather than have to get into some kind of vehicle...
@Sylvhem *waves and smiles* how are you doing?
@chalcedony oh, they train! not very well, but they don't assume you know very much. really it's a manual labor job with a tiny amount of routine lab work. bet you could pick it up just fine
@chalcedony myself, I've got a bit less than an hour to psyche myself up for my 12-hour day at the biodiesel plant...
@chalcedony possibly! *chuckles* I suppose it depends on what needs doing today.
#comics #Marvel #Loki
ok, I'll need help with this one: I was told some while ago that there was a particular Marvel story arc featuring Marvelloki—whom I consider to be distinct from the proper Loki, if such an entity can be said to exist—that nevertheless does a good job of getting across Marvelloki's essential Loki-ness. But I can't remember what it was, or speak to the person who discussed this with me. Scanning lists of "Thor" collections didn't ring a bell.
