So my work gives me a free bus pass. This is nice, and saves me the hassle of traffic and parking, even though it doesn't save me any money over what parking would cost.
But it's good for me 'cause it doesn't pay for gas or maintenance.
It's good for the city 'cause it goes to help the people who REALLY NEED the bus.
It's good for the planet 'cause the bus produces less CO2 per person.
And it's good for my workplace 'cause they can build useful things instead of parking lots.
@icefox yeah, rather wish my workplace would sponsor an Orca card for us. I know I'm not the only person who doesn't drive there
@kara_dreamer Yeah, I've thought about this sort of thing before but it really makes a bigger difference than I realized.
