You know I have so many fiction ideas that I want to write, but I wonder if I shouldn't try writing them in different formats? Like if I wrote a short story as a string of toots, would that be easier or harder than just opening Microsoft word(pahahaha, I'm too broke for that) and banging out however many paragraphs I need?
I suppose with the alien invasion idea, I would need to clearly label it. Wouldn't want to repeat Orson Wells's mistake with War of The Worlds.

@Commissar_Jane I've been using another account on an instance with a 1500-character limit, @kara_dreamer, to try to write short fiction. I got bogged down but for a while I was writing fresh paragraphs at a pretty good clip, and in fact I found the experience far less intimidating and less likely to bog me down in writer's block than just facing a blank page with infinite space to fill, which is what Microsoft Word (or whatever) would do to me.
