I accidentally designed a card game.

@kara_dreamer Well, I was at dinner with my S/O and we were talking about how I have been designing trading cards for old sci-fi movies and adventure serials.
She missed a transition and applied this talk of my trading cards to a previous conversation we had had about an dumb app that I wasn't actually planning on building.
She recognized the mistake pretty quickly, but liked the idea of applying the principles of the app to a card game.
Hours later, I had a proof of concept of the rules.
@ajroach42 I'm a bit envious, I've had a couple decent (I think) ideas for board or card games but I can't ever get down to specifics
@ajroach42 that's very cool ^^ unfortunately I've always tended toward the more theoretical and less practical pursuits. In youth (and after) I liked solving math problems and amassing general knowledge, but wasn't good with applications unless they were provided to me

I can't look at stuff that might exist without trying to make it exist.
When I was little, I would draw pictures of elaborate robots (cutaway, with functioning internals), designed to take out the trash for me because I hated taking out the trash.
I built a scale model out of remote control car parts, it could take out scale trash.
Dad wouldn't let me get bigger motors.
