got an odd question for all you lovely #trans folk, and it's about signatures. I've got about 30 years at least of habit behind my current signature, which to be fair doesn't much resemble a name, but it's still pretty clearly not based on "Kara Dreamer". what's others' experience, if any, with changing signatures?
@kara_dreamer I never put any stock in my signature, so changing just meant writing the new name in a similar style.
My last one had more flourishes though.
@Cybertrash my deadname signature was a conscious imitation of my dad's scribble, so it's got that bit of symbolic weight to it. this time I'm on my own 🤣
