@kara_dreamer I had a pet corn snake and I'm pretty sure it died from insufficient warmth during the winter. It wasn't cold enough to truly hibernate -- just enough to become lethargic and lose its appetite. It only ate the pinky mice I gave it about every third or fourth week instead of weekly as normal, and the last time it barfed it up half digested and died.
