this is a question for everybody, but in particular @Ulfra_Wolfe who asked me about it: which one of these strikes you as a good symbol for the hearth?
The first two I found when searching for symbols claimed to be associated with Hestia, ancient Greek goddess of the hearth; I don't know their authenticity (slight enough, I suspect, not that it matters TOO much.) @kara_dreamer @Ulfra_Wolfe I wouldn't know about the first symbol, but the second one is the astronomical symbol for the planetoid of the same name.
@Thaminga @Ulfra_Wolfe Ah, that's good to know. I wasn't entirely certain that's what it was, because I've seen other symbols for Vesta in that sense, like this one
