@Maenad also I petition for the term "cishumanism" to be applied to any supposedly "transhuman" vision that's basically just "I want to go on living the lifestyle of a privileged tech geek only with an immortal robot body" or whatever.

(Kinda reminds me of how the Bible Belt has converged on a vision of the Rapture that's basically, "I'll go on living my same life in my same body, except it'll be with Jesus now"...at least, that's how it seems to me)
