@Dauntless One guy with one religious vision, however "true" it was, can not possibly be able to tell us EVERYTHING WE NEED TO KNOW ABOUT LIFE EVER. It's ridiculous. Jesus didn't even have the sophistication of language to get across everything that got blasted into his head (I am assuming for convenience that Jesus was one guy and not, say, a composite figure incorporating many mystics' sayings, which is also a feasible notion.) Hence the vague, allusive, often contradictory statements.
