@TipsyTentacle it's ok, you needed to be honest :] but it did get me to wondering if one reason my ex broke with me was because shi was low-level but continually troubled by my advanced age (we were like 12 yrs apart)
@kara_dreamer Hm, I would not be able offer insight here. 12 years does sound like a substantial difference. But everyone is different so -shrug emoji-

@kara_dreamer Well, if you're looking for a trans friendly doctor, Jessica Rongitsch at Capitol Hill Medical has been really good to me.
I don't know if they require anything before giving someone a prescription (since I'd already started when I moved here), but it's worth calling and asking, because there's a good chance they don't.
And if she's not taking new patients, I know there are good people elsewhere, too-- someone at Polyclinic, at least, and someone in Queen Anne? And I suspect there are more...

@kara_dreamer Yeah I kinda feel this. I mean I'm 32 and I see people talking about how flirting is good and pure but also you gotta be careful with that idea because there's lots of really young trans ppl around
plus I feel like there's this pervasive kind of idea that if you're trans and suddenly past 30 you're less valuable to the community (not that I believe that in any way shape or form)
I mean, I remember back on Tumblr when some early 20s something trans girl was talking about 4chan in a positive light and I was like "you mean this website that radicalized white men?"
And she shot back at me by making a bunch of posts about how I'm a 30 year old author and somehow that was funny
