thanks probably to how my mom raised me I am always _very_ uncomfortable when my GF starts doing lots of strenuous household work, even if she assures me she's not expecting me to join in
@kara_dreamer feels familiar. It's actually hard for me to respect my wife's request "Don't do the dishes, I will do them". Which is funny bc I dislike doing dishes and she rather likes it. But then, her workload tends to get in the way.
