@zebratron2084 @cantido @allophilia I feel moved to add that there's a particular scene in "The Matrix" that always rang strangely true to me from the first, and that's the bit where Neo's been given the "our way or the highway" ultimatum and he's pissed and prepared to walk, but Trinity stops him. There's something about the line, "Because you've been down that road, Neo, you know exactly where it ends," and the appearance of the dark and rain-swept street that almost feels like it corresponds to a definite memory, although of course it doesn't.
