@wilkie I like the classification system suggested by the Discworld series: wizards do big flashy Dungeons and Dragons magic, whereas witches know subtle secrets and mostly employ that knowledge to avoid having to do big flashy magic.

GodsDAMMIT. The pacing was off because I forgot an entire encounter at the beginning that was supposed to set the tone for the entire dungeon.

Well. That's… incredibly frustrating.

@axiixc That sounds like a really obnoxious my campaign. My goal is to set the stage and help my players tell a cool story about how awesome their characters are!

@wilkie I agree! But they were getting a bit antsy toward the end and it seemed due to feeling a lack of progress, so clearly I can improve the journey.
