I feel like it has been a good year for me. It's been stable and I've been able to centre myself and things are usually in perspective and not overwhelming and I have good people I love and trust around me almost always

It only provides for the terminally ill & not ppl w chronic conditions so I just gotta keep breaking the law and struggling for supply every few months in order to keep working i guess

Ughhhhh the new govt just released their cannabis bill and it's weak as piss and I'm fucking shattered

She's always fantastically outraged when we catch her up on the board's shit

She's the sweetest thing & we all love her but she had to resign for a health thing that was v similar to my fibro and it was a whole huge affair so seeing her always makes me happy

Ohhhh and I have a catch up with my fave ex coworker I'm v happy

This is an extra couple hundred a month that I'm very very happy about

So I'm coming on as a playlist curator for the local independent radio station which is super exciting bc i get to fill the playlist with a bunch of just not cis white dude music but then they were like "oh it's $30/hr"!!!

I'm defs abduration with a lil twist of necromancy

Like sorry but vague language in labour's health policy does Not give me hope. Where were they the last three years when we were fighting this in media & public, aside from making jokes about it

Ppl are getting excited bc we have a new government & there's a surgeon back in the country trained to do grs but here I am with no trust and no hope and no money to even get on the 60 year wait list
