It's strange to be unhappy that all of your doctors are competent enough to know your situation so you've never had to deal with a "are you pregnant" or "when was your last period".

First / Predecessor card: Strength inverted. There's nothing that saps your strength like surgery and the nerves that go up to it and the preparation that goes into it. Opal is my patronus so this is amazing to see in this reading.

Seven of Pentacles is all about reaping rewards of hard work. This makes amazing amounts of sense considering the amount of BS that had to be put up with for this.

King of Swords is signalling mastery of intellect, emotional control, and a big picture outlook. This is such a good successor card for this type of thing.

Query: How's the rest of the day going to go?

The Knight of Wands is normally energetic but it is being held back by being inverted here. It is a good indication about this while I was out of energy and can't get started.

The active card, the ten or swords, shows Pearl with her swords in frustration. Usually it stands for some backstabbing, misfortune and ruin and I'm not sure how that quite works in now.

The Star showing up next seems good though, and should be a guiding inspiration in the future.
