Query: How will tomorrow (today) go?

Immediately we have The Lovers, which in this show has representation all it's own. Had thoughts about the relationships that I have or are having. I have a couple appointments related to this today so this isn't surprising, I guess. I've been thinking about them a lot lately anyway.

In the prime card slot, there's the Eight of Wands. I always associate quickness and a need to respond immediately with full force with this card, probably partially due to the art of a spin attack from Amethyst. The traditional interpretation is about rapid growth and development and nearing a goal, and speeding up.

There's some major political bullshit happening in the US right now so I might come hide here on the fediverse for a while.

Alternately I am in my late thirties and my biological clock is finally catching up to me and telling me that I should have had at least one kid by now and why are we not having sex with all the guys to get pregnant huh?

Fertility is so fucking everywhere and it's not so much annoying as depressing because I both feel like I am really depressed because of my own infertility and also like I shouldn't be because I need to be accepting and grateful that I can even get as far as I can and live in a society where my gender is at least accepted if not assumed.

I'm unpacking a lot of this stuff now but there is a lot that's bouncing around in my head about the expectation of fertility and how the times when I feel most horrible are when I think about how I'm never made to live to that expectation.

It feels like it's a big signal for me, and a really large part of something that feels missing for me. I get really upset when hearing about other trans women being mistaken for cis via "when's your period" or "are you *sure* you're not pregnant?" type of questions.

@creatrixtiara alternative to Twitter, the last time they went. Also name/identity preservation. I don't develop for Mastodon because I am opposed to the license. I'll probably make one or two clients / tools for it.

I like the customization of instances and the idea that we could have a variety of instances that do things differently.
