This article by Katelyn Burns makes me think that I might not have the kind of friends who will actually tell me "hey, you need to maybe not dress like you're 25 when you're 10 years older"

I have great friends but possibly they're too much on the "wear what you fucking want" side. Essentially no one I know cares as much as me about how I blend in, and a lot of them purposefully go the other direction.

At the same time, I view a lot of the places of people I'd have to have to be in to achieve those goals as super toxic.

@jamuraa Heh. Been thinking about that in context of our mutual friends. On the other hand, you seem to _nail_ youthful but not inappropriate professional. It's a good look.

We definitely have some mutuals who could probably get treated better if they dressed more professionally, and that probably is age-related.
