It's strange to be unhappy that all of your doctors are competent enough to know your situation so you've never had to deal with a "are you pregnant" or "when was your last period".

It'd be nice to be presumed cis even once.

@jamuraa Happened to me while shopping for dresses. You could go fish for cisnormativity there. Just tell them your clothes need space for boobs to grow.

@laura Yea, I don't really get a lot of signals from there either, but I haven't really been seeking them out either. (I don't really need space for boobs, they're pretty much done)

@jamuraa Er, yes. Moved recently, so had to break in a new doctor. Got the 'last period / last mamogram' questions then.

@sysadmin1138 I suppose I will have to switch doctors at some point or break in a new one. It feels weird to be in a position where they're doing their job really well and that makes me feel like I'm missing out.

Having to explain that I'm trans is exactly the kind of hassle that I would welcome though, because it would give me the piece of mind I'm seen as I am and not just "accepted".

@jamuraa That doctor thought I was transmasc for about 5 seconds.

"Er, wrong direction."

"Oh!"

@sysadmin1138 yea this is exactly the kind of thing that I never ever get.
