I did some realizing that I'm a lot more curvy than a lot of women, in the hourglass way. People watching is good for my psyche sometimes.
At some point I might be able to accept myself in skintight things more. Getting used to being a lot more comfortable showing off my body.
@jamuraa For me, it was a revelation when I got off my college campus and watched a bunch of middle aged people with all kinds of bodies getting Starbucks on their lunch break. Every woman in college is either super-petite or super-curvy, but outside, you see so many more body types. You think things like, "Hey, that woman has my shoulders, and she certainly looks comfortable with her appearance" or whatever.
@ikea_femme yes. Most women I see are younger than me around here and that's something I'm starting to try and calibrate for. I certainly can still wish I *was* them but I should think that I'm doing okay especially considering my age.
