I now have a notepad box whose calendar stopped in April 1984.

(The IT company "Nixdorf Computers" no longer exists since 1990.)

Now all I have to do is wait till spring 🙄😒😀

With my new hiking map I have planned a tour over five kilometres and a little more than one thousand metres of difference in altitude. That's a gradient of about 21 percent 🏞🗺

Had a small walk to test my new tripod and lens, now I'm pretty sweaty. It is quite cold, but walking in the deep snow is strenuous.

Got a hiking map of the region and now it's escalating a little bit.

Homemade apple strudel as midnight snack.

If the weather is fine tomorrow, I will walk to the point where I want to take a picture of the sunrise next week.

Now, I'm gonna take a nap 😴

Either I plan to do this for two days and sleep one night in a mountain hut, or I do it all in one day. Then I would have to climb up very early and would not have much time to take pictures. On the other hand, a night in a mountain hut would involve social interaction.

I thought about a hiking tour in summer and was like "yeah, uhm.. 15 kilometers should be enough" but ended up at "okay, so I can walk some 15 kilometers more and climb at least five more summits", which will be at least about 2.500 meters in height difference 🤔

I hardly read Twitter anymore. In the morning, even before I get up, I scroll through a few tweets from the night, but during the day I only write a few tweets, or none at all.

@the_all I guess I'll stick to English, too. My followers speak different languages, but almost all of them speak English as a second language.

Furthermore, I am still confused about whether I should continue to write in English or whether I can use German.

I am currently planning to hike in the middle of the night to reach a viewpoint in the mountains in time for the blue hour and sunrise.

As you may know, there was a full moon today. I was out again and I wanted to leave this for you.

@Marigoldping Ja, leider ein Elend, diese Preise 😒 Ich schaue gerne nach gebrauchten, müssen auch gar nicht alle Features haben, aber sollten auch nicht ein untersten Einsteiger-Gläser sein.. wie die meisten der Profileute auf Youtube sagen: kommt weniger auf die Technik und deren Preis an, als vielmehr darauf, was man damit macht bzw machen will ☝ Dass teure Objektive natürlich zB für großformatige Prints bessere Ergebnisse liefern.. ja, super. Ich druck mir mal ein Bild für die Wand aus und poste was auf Instagram, so who cares about your $$$ equipment? :D

@Marigoldping Die 35mm Festbrennweite kommt eh nicht nah genug heran, um brauchbare Mondbilder zu erhalten.. ansonsten habe ich nur das neue Objektiv, mit dem auch das Bild gemacht ist, und mein Kit-Objektiv, das ich nicht benutze.
