@marlyn @kibi probably! usually folks write NYC or airport codes but really it’s whoever’s deciding things at the time :P

@marlyn @kibi oh, no, you’re good ^_^; additional information helps us figure things out :)

I was just tersely stating why you’d probably see that

@marlyn @kibi another transit provider that DO probably purchases transit from

telia is a tier 1 ISP so they're very international

@kibi that looks like a colocation center in NYC

mine was ending at 184.105.223.162, which is HE's NYC4 router

so I think they maybe screwed up their routing? they're still announcing routes in BGP best I can tell

@kibi looks like traceroute isn't going past hurricane electric for me... wondering if digitalocean is having connectivity issues again today

@quine I should buy a squirt bottle

that's my secret

i'm never not shitposting

hi, my name is iliana. I’m a Problem Architect at Wobscale Technologies

“have you considered... TASing using systemd?”

@federicomena @jamey (send me an email, iweller@amazon.com, I’ll open an internal issue to look at it monday)

@jamey @federicomena I work on it and I have no idea how it works either

@bootsy I dunno. it might do fractional months but iirc it’s $0.50 per hosted zone per month

@bootsy also I think you get billed 50 cents every time you create a hosted zone???

route 53 billing, like the rest of AWS, is infinitely confusing
