I've had quite the year. I got elected as an officer for another student group, learned distributed systems engineering by fire, wrote transhumanist interactive fiction, stress-baked, miscalculated,
performed linguistics fieldwork, gained new appreciation for rifts in the space-time continuum, switched to using Qubes OS, helped save a server room from melting, implemented Raft, corrupted my password manager, redyed my hair twice, played at least nine roleplaying games,
had to explain to a well-known figure in the free software movement why I was dressed like a mad scientist, met new frosh, built a robot that screams, got a rug, walked for four hours on a sprained ankle, played board games with cool infosec people, summoned two different demons, learned dark and horrible secrets, DOSed my own software, and found out how to enjoy sushi.
