@weird_hell two tone is done with foil panels to lighten, then keeping the panels separated when you color them and always always washing with colder water to keep them from mixing. it’s not something I’d have the patience for myself, I go to a professional for it every six or so weeks

but I dunno how well color products do with ginger hair :( I have product that repairs color-treated hair, I don’t really know how well it would work for different hair types
