got an odd question for all you lovely #trans folk, and it's about signatures. I've got about 30 years at least of habit behind my current signature, which to be fair doesn't much resemble a name, but it's still pretty clearly not based on "Kara Dreamer". what's others' experience, if any, with changing signatures?
@kara_dreamer for me, I had some anxiety about it until I found a way to sign my new name that I liked, and then it just stuck
(the name itself stuck in a similar way, so)
@iliana ah! I admit it took me about ten seconds to name myself (since I was already firmly identifying with Chara Dreemurr by that time) but inventing a signature might take longer
