She was involved in the development of the Moog Synthesizer and helped to establish the Synthesizer as a proper musical instrument in the public eye.
Her most wildly known works are her soundtracks for the Stanley Kubrick's films "A Clockwork Orange" and "The Shining".

I feel like one way in which the Right has a serious advantage over the Left is their (supposed) emphasis on "values." I know that more often than not ideas like that are just used as sticks to beat others with, but I think it's high time we claimed things like empathy, family, patience, charity, freedom (things Capitalism destroys) and so on as our own and show the World that the Left are the custodians of decency, not the other way round. Better to bond over what we value than what we oppose.
CWs aren't "censorship" or putting your toots behind some kinda wall, they're basically equivalent to lowering your voice so only the intended people can hear you in this crowded bar, as you talk about stuff that's potentially upsetting, TMI, or whatever.
