I tried to get into videogames in a vain attempt to win over my fiancee when she started withdrawing and watching game grumps videos during all her waking hours. @Eve @Josephine I felt the same thing, and lately I've been feeling it a bit more. Whether it's seasonal, or liking how I look and pass more these days, or some hormonal threshold getting passed, I don't know. But I'm so glad for it.

I spent so much of my life feeling numb and trying to be invisible. And for the first time, I feel like I'm a person I'm comfortable sharing with others. I feel like it's weird to explain to cis, especially cis people who think I was a good looking guy, or that there's parts of my presentation that are weird, and so on, but dysphoria's a jerk and plays by these rules.

@jamuraa I agree, and I feel like I'm not able to fairly judge my face. I asked my mother if she thought I looked masculine, and she said she couldn't tell as she knew me as male my whole life. I have that, plus dysphoria. I'm realizing that I get worried about problems I can find in the mirror, but never in photos or videos.

I guess this is why I need therapy, which makes me glad I'm finally signed up for a therapist and not just support group.
