Very close to breaking up with my her doctor. Should I try to find another doctor who does hrt, or can I just ask a gp (in the US) to write these scripts?

As an American who has lived in California and Washington, I would say finding one that specifically does HRT is a lot more comfortable. Less... Uncomfortable trans questions...
@ikea_femme If your dose has been stable and is doing what you want, I'd say GP is fine to renew scrips.
If you're still fine-tuning, it really helps to have someone who knows what they're doing
