The Babylon Bee guy is a bit of an asshole, but this is a good joke.

So as I was leaving the bus I saw that somebody had photographed my minimalist sandals (the DIY ones from Xero Shoes) and was like texting it to somebody and I'm like, man, are they approving or disapproving? I had to get off the bus so I didn't have time to react and ask, but that was a little odd.

for non-Americans: typical tip at restaurant is 15% but people typically do more.

So a friend of mine was telling me about how her mother-in-law was in town and she tipped only SIX PERCENT, apparently because Seattle had increased the minimum wage so apparently servers don't need the tips anymore. First, it's only at like $11 right now. Second, that's unfortunatley not how it works, though, sure, ideally we'll get to the point where people get a damn living wage and we don't tip anymore, like in most places.

I feel like I go through and like a lot more things than other people - is it work to hit the like button a lot? I can do it less if it wierds you out.
