So a friend of mine was telling me about how her mother-in-law was in town and she tipped only SIX PERCENT, apparently because Seattle had increased the minimum wage so apparently servers don't need the tips anymore. First, it's only at like $11 right now. Second, that's unfortunatley not how it works, though, sure, ideally we'll get to the point where people get a damn living wage and we don't tip anymore, like in most places.
