To be clear, I don't hate the activities themselves, but rather all the fucking build-up and time wasted in preparing for that activity that are essential to getting it done.

Just think about it. It takes me 20 minutes to fall asleep. That's 20 minutes where I'm lying around doing fucking NOTHING and if I start to do something, I gotta start all over again. That's 20 whole minutes where I can't do shit. That's a whole episode of Friends.

Showering-- I gotta get the water warm. I gotta underdress. Gotta tie up my hair. Gotta get my whole body wet before I can soap up. Then I gotta dry off. Gotta put more clothes on.

Whole lotta prep and set-up for one damn activity.
