lmao jkjkjk I'm gonna treat myself to a new flute first and when I hit 50 hours of practice and routine, THEN I'll treat myself to a viola.

I'm gonna treat myself to a viola. It's been a while.

checkmate, anxiety and hyperactive sweat glands

me realizing I went a whole day without sweating through my nice shirt: witches.town/media/zSQSgBSwA-e

I pawned a pretty nice ring when I got stranded in Seattle 6 years ago. What is the likelihood of me getting it back?

@guerrillarain "Under Pressure" is kinda too good for this list. I play "I Love Rock And Roll" at ignorant levels when the chance presents itself.

@guerrillarain far too many to list but I'm also actually white. like some of these are more of a no go for me but it also has a lot of my favorites. Buddy Holly probably being the one I'm weakest to, followed by Mr Brightside.

@guerrillarain @demonkind Um, anyway, if you like extended technique, anything by Dick should be pretty interesting robertdick.net/

@guerrillarain Doesn't sound like it's your thing, but Telemann wrote a whole bunch of fantasias for solo flute. And a nifty sonata for flute and obbligato harpsichord.

Anyone know of any good flute solos/pieces?

Every time I look for stuff, I end up with ugly scores of nonsense because it's background noise rather than at the forefront of the piece.

An example of something I like is Suite Modale for Flute & Piano by Ernest Bloch.

I'm sorry it came up on shuffle and I just wanted to remind yall that a real live human being wrote and sang this lyric
