@guerrillarain @gargron The sad thing is we tend to use metaphor and analogy to describe things to other people. Just try to explain something like Mastodon without mentioning another social media network. It's difficult.
But we'll know we've arrived when folks say things like "It's like Mastodon but not as good." 😁

The whole idea is based on DNA markers that are common in X community, I believe, so I would hope no one takes it as 100% accurate that they are 3% Chinese or something.
