@guerrillarain in general, and patriarchy is extra-real, but in general men are sick of watching women fight with each other over pointless bullshit
@guerrillarain and i am not the first person to wonder if it is a direct result of patriarchy but damn is it real and it is awful

@guerrillarain maybe it's because regardless of race and gender that person saw children in danger of being ran over by a car. That tends to trigger a reaction in most people unless they're a psychopath.
@polychrome I mean yeah sure, that makes sense until you factor in how very rarely does white America sympathise with and see Black people, including children, as human, worthy of protection and intervention. It was only 50 years ago they had carnival games of throwing shit at "nigger babies" and put them in zoos so.
(For those who don't know, my experience and the experience of many of my friends has always been that white men tend to lend help to women of color when white women attack and it is truly baffling.)
