@Miffy Hahaha, it's fair. He was like an undercover edgy boy rapper (who went by the name Childish Gambino) whose sole marketing point is that he's too edgy and nice and not a stereotypical black guy and that's why he's rejected by (black) women

also his music isn't even that good so you aren't missing anything by not knowing him lmaoooo

but now he's started having cameos in movies here and there and has been a star in Community and Atlanta (both tv shows) so I can't escape his face.
