Cute funny thing that came up at work:

I read a lot. I've always read a lot. My mom had me doing Hooked on Phonics when I was 3 years old. I had over 100 children's books by the time I was 8 (which we later donated to a children's hospital).

I remember one time going to the bookstore with my mom so she could grab something and she told me that I couldn't leave her sight or else I'd come back with a stack of books taller than myself. I said yeah, but ran off when she wasn't looking and came back with like 6 books that I wanted her to buy.

She eventually stopped taking me to bookstores bc it was getting expensive lmao
