After having read "Little Fires Everywhere" by Celeste Ng, it is hard for me to rate other books as anywhere close to 5/5. My whole literary world was shattered (in a good way). The downside is that I feel like nothing else is as enjoyable now.
I think I just REALLY vibed with Ng's book, so now, reading anything else, I constantly think "Why would they put that there?" "That's a weird choice to make, stylistically" and "I see what you're tryna do but it's not working at all".
