@guerrillarain I trained some in captioning, as a subset of court reporting, and I'd be doing that as a career now if the "school" I made the mistake of attending hadn't been a money-sucking scam. so yeah, I have Opinions about captioning, mainly that it's good, we need more people who can do it, and we need to pay them really well so they can keep doing it and do more of it. and yeah, captioning in movies should be fucking standard. :|
