@green German shepherds are also my favorites because they're smart and take no shit but also still dogs overflowing with love
same with rottweilers
@guerrillarain they probably make decent watch dogs though because they get SUPER EXCITED about making friends with anyone and everything

if someone walks up to our front door and she isn't asleep, ours will often suddenly perk up and attentively wait for the door to go or the post to come through the mail slot
