Also for those who don't know where I got my name from, I used to work at a restaurant outside of Yokohama as a waitress and there would be these sudden, hardcore cloudbursts where it would be bright and sunny and beautiful one minute, and then it would turn into dark, HEAVY downpour... and then 5 minutes later, it would be bright and sunny again and you can actually watch it happening from far enough away. And one of my senpai told me that the phrase for it is "ゲリラ豪雨" which translates to guerrilla rain. It was the coolest most beautiful things I've ever seen.
It's such a random moment, but hanging out in that café, my senpai-tachi and boss teaching me about this intense force of nature (that I would eventually get caught in like every other day) while I watch people try to take shelter from a downpour that almost flooded the streets... it was wild.
@guerrillarain this is so lovely! I also didn't know you lived in Japan, that's awesome!
