my younger brother's interest phases line up kind of disturbingly well with the phases I went through except he skipped "edgy emo teen" and instead is in the throes of "aspiring pro gamer" and I'm not sure whether that's better or worse. on one hand I don't think I could have lived with someone who had as intense a My Chemical Romance obsession as I did, on the other hand he is intolerable when video games are brought up and he of course brings them up all the time.

I finished the true ending and it kinda... actually raised the game in my estimation a fair bit?? I fully expected to be pretty much just lukewarm because of all the hype I had heard/saw for it (ESPECIALLY from a few particular friends who played it right when it came out and who were extremely eager for me to play it) but I actually found it very fun and enjoyable even if parts of the ending lead up felt kind of heavy-handed. I feel more willing to try varying runs of it to see different aspects of the game now.
