@TipsyTentacle it's difficult to get confirmation on some of the things due to the nature of the USSR but they were generally underfunded and working with outdated/unsafe equipment. several of their test pilots and such died and I believe due to the classified circumstances it took a long time for families to get closure or compensation, if they got any.

@TipsyTentacle tbh the actual state of the Soviet space program and what happened to some of their cosmonauts is way more disturbing than any alien stuff people might come up with
