my younger brother's interest phases line up kind of disturbingly well with the phases I went through except he skipped "edgy emo teen" and instead is in the throes of "aspiring pro gamer" and I'm not sure whether that's better or worse. on one hand I don't think I could have lived with someone who had as intense a My Chemical Romance obsession as I did, on the other hand he is intolerable when video games are brought up and he of course brings them up all the time.
