@ebel as a philosopher it's interesting to me the way we can follow a rule we can't necessarily articulate

like you can eyeball your polygons and yay or nay them, but defining a function to do that is hard

like in svg (to relate it to something i actually know anything about) there's a notion of the insideness of a point and the different ways to determine that; it's an oddly unintuitive way to think about shapes
