@Concerned_Catgirl if I can shoot rabbits then I can shoot fascists

@Ulfra_Wolfe you're growing a new you, like a kind of transition, or a metamorphosis

@alyxmaia you deliberately engineer a sort of grey area where something's true and false at the same time so binary truth values are suspended and you can fuck with reality; doorways are great for queering binary truth ascriptions for example, inside and outside at once

@alyxmaia look into paraconsistency magick (sub chaoism) where you induce a dialetheic state to bring a situation under your mastery; liminal spaces have paraconsistency written all over them

@eden no one knows oop, except the smalltalk people

@Sylvhem your vegan foie gras is raising eyebrows, I'm being asked for the recipe

@felyn yeah I've read a lot of nonfic as well I guess, got into queer philology this year; really getting into the early feminist novelists, so much radical lit that gets sidelined as not part of the canon

@felyn any recommendations? Litfic is my bag. I discovered Anna Kavan and Mary Robinson this year.

@ed that's what worries me, he seems to struggle with original ideas; that's one thing Steven has in buckets, for all the shortcomings in his writing

@ed Nordic crime drama is really popular in Britain but British people are really lazy with subtitles, he was first to cash in on that with a homegrown version

@ed Torchwood was Russell, Chris wrote Broadchurch which is like a watered down, very English imitation of Nordic noir. The movie cameras do worry me, but we can only wait and see. Maybe we'll love it!

@eden wow that's a really positive move forward; taking pressure off yourself is powerful magick

@ed I find his writing quite derivative so that's a worry, but yes it does look like they're trying to distance it from Steven's vision, new music (new composer) even new photography

@eden I got over the person I'd been hopelessly in love with for the past ten years

@ed her accent is a bit 9 as well, it's like they're trying to recapture the RTD era

@ed I really hope so, she's a wonderful actor and I'm sure she could do so much with it; but the creatives on the show are continually fighting the bbc who only care about ratings and money
