J. Jennifer Espinoza is one of my absolute favourite writers. Her poems painfully and superbly convey her experience as a trans woman.

This is correct -- do not ask people to out themselves in a group! But also, if you're "avoiding using pronouns," you'd better be sure you're actually doing it consistently until people tell you otherwise. Otherwise it's just another way of saying "by the way, I totally clocked you," which, do not do that either!
