the @StarHill bot reminds me a lot of this thing we used to running orientation with the freshman at my alma mater. It was one of the first things we did. We had everyone write down one hope for college and one fear; anonymously. Then we'd shuffle them and read them out loud.

Typically like 50% of the cards were "I'm afraid I won't make any friends" and the other 50% was "I'm afraid I'll fail my classes"

and after that everyone stopped feeling as anxious because they realized they were in the same boat
